Alison Lobb

Business Consultant - Huron Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC)

Alison was raised in Toronto, and completed one year at the Veterinarian College before marrying and becoming a farmer in Goderich Township in the County of Huron.  She taught at Centralia College for 24 years, then started Lobb Entrepreneurship – training clients in accounting software. She is currently acting Loans Manager for Community Futures Huron, a branch of the OACFDC.  Her involvement in community organizations is extensive including her role as Director of the Blyth Festival, and the Centre for Coastal Conservation.  Alison has been a Municipal Councillor in the Municipality of Central Huron for over 22 years.  However, her greatest accomplishments are her five children – Stephen, David, Robert, Laurence and Sandra.… along with six grandchildren.
