Please be advised that in accordance with O Reg 239/2 Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways a Significant Weather Event which was declared in Huron East starting at 2025-01-29 at 4:00 PM is now being declared as over as of 2025-01-30 at 8:30 AM.

Municipality of Huron East Receives Funding for Critical Infrastructure Project
HURON EAST, ON - The Municipality of Huron East is excited to announce that it has been awarded funding from the Ministry of Transportation's 2025-26 Connecting Links Program. This generous contribution will support the Resurfacing and Reconstruction of Goderich Street West (Highway 8) - Phase 2 in Seaforth.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Huron East welcomed researchers from the University of Guelph's School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, to Seaforth to speak with businesses to better understand issues related to attracting and retaining workers.
