Emergency Management

Municipalities are required to develop an Emergency Plan governing the provision of necessary services during an emergency. The plan also details the procedures to be followed by the people who will respond to the emergency.

The Huron East Emergency Response Plan outlines how the Municipality and its emergency response agencies will coordinate themselves to respond to and help the Municipality recover from a large-scale emergency. It outlines the roles, responsibilities, procedures and guidelines that will be followed to protect the health, safety and well-being of Huron East residents.
