Seaforth, Ontario. The Municipality of Huron East is pleased to announce the hiring of two new employees for the newly created positions of Deputy Treasurer and Clerk.
Amanda Becke will be starting her new role as Deputy Treasurer on November 8, 2021. Ms. Becke comes with a strong educational background in finance and has demonstrated community leadership having been awarded the Young Women in Public Affairs Award and a Community Leadership Award for her volunteer activities. Ms.
Becke says “she is looking forward to the opportunity to work at Huron East and to mentor under the Finance Manager-Treasurer Paula Michiels”.
Jessica (Jess) Rudy will be starting her new role as Clerk on November 15, 2021. Ms. Rudy comes with over 15 years of experience working within a clerks department for an upper tier municipality and has extensive record and electronic document management experience. Ms. Rudy stated that “she is looking forward to the opportunity to deal with a greater diversity of challenges and opportunities that come with the role of Clerk for a lower tier municipality”.
