Huron East hosted the Huron County Truck Roadeo on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. We were proud to welcome 31 competitors from across Huron County, including four operators from Huron East. Remarkably, all four of our operators finished in the top 13!
The event highlighted the often underappreciated work of winter maintenance operators. It provided a great opportunity to witness the skill and precision these operators exhibit while working under the harshest weather conditions, ensuring safe travel for everyone!
The purpose of the AORS Provincial Safety Truck Roadeo is to showcase the expertise of the best municipal equipment operators in Ontario. Winners from local association Roadeos advance to elimination rounds, competing against the best equipment operators across the province. The Roadeo promotes safety, courtesy, and professional public works driving skills in a challenging competition.
Congratulations to all of Huron County's dedicated operators on their success!
