HURON-EAST, ON: The flags at Huron East municipal facilities will be flying at half-mast this weekend in recognition of Firefighters' National Memorial Day on September 8, 2024.
This day honours firefighters who serve across Canada, and those who have lost their lives or been injured on the job, for their courage and unwavering commitment to serve their communities.
This is also a day to recognize firefighters in our own community and across Canada for their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to serve their communities. We also recognize the sacrifice, dedication, and support of their families.
