"Participate in theBrussels Community Ramp Project"

The Community Ramp Project Goal:

• This program has been introduced to create awareness about barriers in our built environment that prevent people fromenjoying some of the amazing buildings and businesses our community has to offer.

• This program will help private businesses embrace the upcoming "Accessibility for Ontarians withDisabilities Act Built Environment Standard", which in the near future will make it law for businesses to be barrier free.

 The Community Ramp Project Facts:

• Whether you are a parent pushing a stroller or a wheelchair user, ramps simply makelife easier.

• A ramped storefront is smart for business, as it allows access for everyone regardless oftheir ability.

The Community Ramp Project Tasks:

We will help gather volunteers and material donations so that you and other inspiredbusiness owners can receive a lightweight nonpermanent ramp to suit your singlestepped storefront for free!
